John, you were a ray of sunshine; smiling, friendly and the best singing birthday messages on our answering machine!!!! Every year you did it.

So glad you are with your Heavenly Father; the One for whom you were such a witness. Enjoyed the time we shared and look forward to seeing you again! I just hope if we can golf again, that we all perform like the #1 ranked golf, or at least better than we did on the Men's retreat.

See again, Brother.

Our most heartfelt condolences to Pastor Ken and your entire family from my wife Rachel and myself. I understand the loss of a parent too early only to well. The greatest peace to easing one's mind is knowing as you well do is, gone from the body, present with the Lord, with that knowledge we know he is in a far greater place and one day we will all be together again. We continue to pray for all of you and hope to see you soon, May God bless you all

I met John and Ken in late February 2004. I was passing through Black River) Falls on my way to Fargo, ND on a Sunday and wanted to go church. When I looked in the phone book at the flyingJ I found a listing for Ken's church. That is where I met Ken and John. Ken invited me to his house for lunch. It was just Ken, John and myself as Heather and the children were visiting her family. We had a very nice time of fellowship and have remained friends since. Even though I live in Ohio. My sincere sympathy at John's passing. Your friend in Christ. I Floyd
