Vitina “Tina” LaRocca, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on March 10,
2026, in her hometown of Chicago, IL. Born on December 17, 1941, also in Chicago,
Tina’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, Love, commitment, and devotion to God and her family.
Tina was the cherished wife of the late Dominic LaRocca, with whom she shared 63
years of unwavering partnership. Her love for Dominic was a profound example of
commitment, and together they built a life filled with joy and mutual respect. Tina was
also, a beloved sibling, survived by her brother Vincent Ventura & Wife (Irene), and her sister
Mary Schmitz & Husband (John).
Tina’s legacy is carried on by her five children: Sam, Vince & Wife (Jill), Frances, Christopher, and
Rosemary and her two grandchildren: Vasilia LaRocca and Dillon Carey. Her children and
grandchildren were touched by her gentle guidance, endless support
and the warm embrace of her unconditional love. Tina showered them all with affection and
tenderness that defined her as a mother and grandmother.
Tina and Dominic were long-standing, faithful members of Marquette Manor Baptist
Church in Downers Grove, IL. Her Christian faith was not only a cornerstone of her life
but also, a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Tina’s unwavering belief provided
her with strength, a tight-knit community, and a profound sense of purpose throughout
her life’s journey.
In her 84 years, Tina LaRocca exemplified what it means to be loving, kind, and faith-
filled. Her presence was a gift to those around her, and she will be profoundly missed.
The legacy of Tina’s generous spirit and unwavering love will continue to live on through
her family, friends, and all the lives she touched.
The visitation for Tina will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 6 PM until the time
of the funeral service at 8 PM at South Park Church, located at 1330 Courtland Ave,
Park Ridge, IL 60008. Her life and spirit will be celebrated and remembered during this
service, capturing the essence of a woman who touched so many hearts.
Tina’s final resting place will be at Irving Park Cemetery, where interment will take place
on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10 AM. The cemetery is located at 7777 Irving Park
Rd, Chicago, IL, where Tina will be laid to rest in a place that reflects the warmth and
beauty she brought to the world.
