Philip O. Adams

On August 30th,2018 Philip O Adams 73, passed away with family and friends by his side. He was born in Hinsdale, IL. He attended Montessori grade school and graduated from Lyons Township HS. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy Air Squadron from 1965- 1971. He worked for Western Electric and ATT for over 40yrs. His lifelong hobbies were Tall Ships and Trains. He shared his love of Trains with several generations of his family who helped put together miles of track. He built beautiful scale replicas of Tall Ships that he won awards with. He was a talented woodworker. Philip Adams is survived by his Beloved Wife Rebecca. His loving children Tresa (Bill)Mitchell, Christopher (Jessica)Adams, David Adams, Randel (Liz)Calleja, Razel (Mauricio)Gomez, and Riza (Jared)Gregory. Also, his treasured Nephew Danny (Melody)Smith. 11 adored grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Philip was preceded in death by his parents Bea and Roy Adams, and his sister Carolyn Dunham. Graveside service 10am on September 08,2018 at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, Il.
