Mose J. Kizer, age 65 of Romeoville, IL, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, with family and friends by his side.
Mose was the loving husband of Vivian. He was welcomed into eternal rest by his mother, Freddie Mae Brown, his sister, Barbara Tucker, and his brothers, Richard Clay and Benjamin Brown. He was the loving brother to Freda Tucker and Ruthie (Charles) Nicholas of Joliet, IL. Allen Brown and James Brown of Joliet. He was the cherished father of Stepson, Vincent Bowie. Mose was the devoted Grandfather to Kaden Bowie of Wisconsin, Cameron and Max Bowie of Iowa. He was the fond uncle of a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mose will be remembered for his kindness, his love for family, his unwavering faith, and the many lives he touched throughout the years. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Victory Cathedral, 369 N. Weber Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60490 on July 18, 2026. Fellowship 9:00 - 10:00 and Eulogy 10:00 - 11:00.
