Merkle Dobbins

Merkle Dobbins, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025.

He was the loving brother to Clayton Dobbins, his only surviving brother. Four brothers preceded him in death, Lonnie, Ristine, Wallace and Erma. 

Merkle was the cherished father of Marcus Dobbins, Valerie Beavers, Derrick Scott and Merkle Turner.

He was Grandfather to Kamela, D'Angelo and Tyrell. Tyla Beavers preceded him in death.

He was the fond uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

Merkle, also known as the "Big M," enjoyed family gatherings, good food, traveling, Doo Wops, and all things luxurious.
