Melissa Antley, the daughter of Mckinley and Laura Douglas was born in Natchez Mississippi.
Melissa, as a young lady, relocated to Philadelphia to pursue her dream of becoming a world
traveler. Melissa and her husband studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and both were baptized in
February 1961. Earnest preceded her in death in 1974. They continued to serve Jehovah's
loyalty until They passed.

Melissa loved all forms of field service, informal witnessing, door to door, and telephone
witnessing. Additionally, Melissa was a delightful, devoted, caring and energetic person that had
an unconditional love of family. She had a real fondness for cooking, and made the best sweet
potato pies and cornbread stuffing. This sister's warm southern hospitality always made you feel
welcome in her home. Melissa enjoyed making people smile, and sharing wonderful spiritual
experiences. Last but not least, you could always count on her.
Melissa leaves to mourn: One sister Carrie Smith, 11 Nieces and Nephews Joe Douglas, Cathy
Mitchel, Steven Smith, James Wear, Dwight Douglas, Elaine White, James Brady, Patricia Sims,
Tommy Brady, Carrolyn Ford, Michelle Ford, Wanda Brady and a host of great nieces, and
nephews and special friends.

Melissa's family wishes to recognize and thank her spiritual and fleshy family for
their condolences. Also to thank everyone that played a special role in her life. (Spiritual
sons and daughters: Bob Bender, Andre Brown, Clara Brown, Delores Candido, Valarie
Carter, Bernice Croon, Jalisa Estrella, Linda Jackson, Carol Oakman, Beverly Tunnell,
Donny Travia, and Deborah Scipio).
Melissa hoped and prayed that everyone in her family would come to know Jehovah and that
she would see them in the new world to come. Revelation. 21:1-5

Song 139
See Yourself When All is New
Just see yourself, just see me too;
Just see us all in a world that is new,
Think how you’ll feel, how it will be,
To live in peace, to be truly free.
No evil one will then prevail;
Rule by our God cannot ever fail.
The time will come for a new earthly start
The song of our praises
will pour out from our heart:

(CHORUS)

We thank you, our God, for all you have done.
All things are new by the rule or your Son.
The fullness of our heart overflows in our song;
All glory and honor and praise to you belong”
2. Now see yourself, and see me too,
And look ahead to a world that's new.
No sight we see ,no sound we hear
Will cause alarm or give rise to fear.
All has come true, just as he said;
Now over mankind, his tent is spread.
He now will awaken those sleeping in death;
The voices will join ours with
Ev’vy grateful breath:

CHORUS
“We thank you, our God, for all you've done.
All things are new by the rule of your Son.
The fulness of our heart overflows in song;
All glory and honor and praise to you belong”
Song 140
Life Without End At Last!
Can you see with your mind’s eye,
People dwelling together?
Sorrow has passed. Peace at last!
Life without tears or pain.

(CHORUS)
Sing out with joy of heart!
You too can have a part.
Live for the day when you’ll say
“Life without end at last !”
2. In those days all will be young,
All at peace with Jehovah.
troubles are gone, from now on,
No need to weep or fear.
(CHORU

Sing out with joy of heart!
You too can have a part.
Live for the day when you’ll say
“Life without end at last !”
3. Paradise all will enjoy
as we sing of God’s glory.
Long as we live, we will give
Honor and praise to God.
(CHORUS)

Sing out with joy of heart!
You too can have a part.
Live for the day when you’ll say
“Life without end at last !”
