Lourdes Valeros Millan

Lourdes Valeros Millan, 79, of Bolingbrook, IL passed away on December 2, 2023, at the Bolingbrook Advent Hospital with family by her side.

Lourdes was born on February 11, 1944, at San Jose, Manabo, Abra, Philippines, but she lived most of her life in Alacaak, Sta Cruc, Occ. Mindoro before immigrating to United States in 1990.  She worked at McDonald until her retirement.  In the Philippines, she was also a seamstress for a dress shop in Manila.

Lourdes was preceded by her father Norberto Millan, her mother Inocencia Valeros, and brother-in-law Remias Mendez.

Lourdes is survived by her brother Juan Millan and wife Rebecca, her sister Primitiva Mendez and her sister Concepcion Millan.

Lourdes was a loving aunt to her 8 nieces and nephews and their spouses including: Eva Javier and husband Jowel, Eric Millan and wife Santa, Anna Millan, Victor Millan and wife Nimfa, Rey Millan and wife Olive, Dexter Millan, Fernan Millan, Jayjay and wife Catherine; Grandnieces and grandnephews Evangeline, Edrian, Elaine, Rosalynne, Justin, Ginelle, Jeraldine, Catherine Joy and husband Neil, Christopher, Raciel, Isabelle, Anjali, Princess, Queenie and Queen; and Great grandnieces/nephew Caitlyn, Aria, and Zion.

Although Lourdes did not have a family of her own, she was 2nd mom to her other relatives in the Philippines, giving them her love, support and advice.  This just shows what a kind-hearted person she was.
