Jose Luis Hinojosa

On the morning of August 5, 2020, Jose L. Hinojosa of Glendale Heights, Illinois passed away at the age of 78.  Jose was born in Candelaria, Zacatecas, Mexico to Nasaria and Jose G. Hinojosa.  He became a citizen of the United States on May 24, 1996.

He married Maybelle Daniels in July 1963.  They were married 57 years and had four children and nine grandchildren.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Lucila Giron (sister) and Ryan Fitzpatrick (grandson).

He loved spending time with his family, playing pool, and beating his family at the board game Aggravation.  He was a coach for his son’s baseball team and enjoyed watching the sport along with Football on TV.  He was also an avid cat lover.

Jose is survived by his wife, Maybelle, children: Anna-Marie (Claude), Carol, Daniel (Cynthia) and Jennifer (Joseph), grandchildren: Adam, Jessica, Colin, Liam, Emily, Sarah, Molly and Riley, his sister Gloria, brother Ruben and many nieces and nephews.

Interment is private.
