Jed M Lewis

Jed Mario Lewis, age 49, of Bolingbrook, IL transitioned from this walk of life to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2020. He was born May 20, 1971, in Hot Springs to Leo and Armentha Mays Lewis. His Father preceded him in death as with his brothers Alex Tyrone Lewis and Anthony Andrew “Pig” Lewis.

Jed attended Hot Springs High School and moved to Chicago in 1986 with his brother Anthony Lewis. Married to his wife Amber Thomas March 12, 1999, together have three beautiful daughters Sierra, Jaia and Amira. Jed worked at Grimco Inc. as a Warehouse Lead. He was known for his love of Sports, Video Games, Super Heroes, BBQ’s, and football jerseys. Jed has touched many lives, he was kind, funny, outgoing, and loving. He will truly be missed.

Those who will miss him in love and cherish his memories included his wife Amber Lewis; his mother Armentha Lewis; his children Sierra Thomas Lewis, Jaia Lewis, Amira Lewis; his granddaughter Alaya “Bug-Bug” Cox; his siblings, Eden Guinn (James Huff), Alvelyn Lewis, Lester Lewis, Michael Lewis, Eric Lewis, Bryce Lewis, and Timothy Lewis; aunts and uncle, Odester Lewis, Jamie (Jimmy) Colton, and Denne Lee “Coon” Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Private cremation will be held.

A Celebration of Life & Memorial Service for Jed will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020  from 3 pm to 7 pm at Hidden Lakes Park, 475 Trout Farm Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
