Glenease R Scruggs Stinson, affectionately known as Glenease to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Bolingbrook, IL. Born on December 4, 1932, in Gilbertown, AL, Glenease's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Glenease was a beacon of light and comfort in the lives of her family and friends. She was the cherished mother of Sharon Scruggs Ferrell (Granger Clark), and she held close to her heart the memory of her late children, Gerald D Scruggs and Diedra O. Stinson. Glenease's warmth and guidance shone brightly upon her Grandchildren DeJuan and Jerry, Great  grandchildren Damenn, Akira, Zafirah, Laysha, Great Great grandchildren Jaziyah, and Damanni, whom she adored with every fiber of her being. She was also a fond aunt to Mia, Marta (Kenneth), Shenee (Rick), Douglas, Zina (Meechie), and Orlando, each of whom benefited from her nurturing spirit and wise counsel.

Throughout her life, Glenease embodied the virtues of love and kindness. Her faith-filled nature was an inspiration to all, providing strength and solace to those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs and the gentle way she approached every interaction left a lasting impact on her community and set a powerful example for her family to follow.
