Gerald L Price

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Gerald (Jerry) L. Price, 85, born September 9, 1935.  He passed peacefully surrounded by his children Monday January 25, 2021. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Leslie (Lovejoy) Price, and his siblings Bob and Donna.

He was a devoted father to six children: Mike (Jane) Price, Mark (Patricia) Price, Tracey (Kent) Beidelman, Diane (Buck) Scents, Scott (Helena) Price & Paul (Jeanne) Price.

A smiling companion to his 14 grandchildren Brittany, Andrew, Emma, Cole, Melanie, J.D., Kirstie, Jarrod, Aiden, Jonah, Liam, Josephine, Mackenzie and Danielle; proud great-grandfather to Kemma and Adelyn. 

Caring brother to Sandy (Price) Potvin, Joy (Price) Kacena, Bryan (Peggy) Price and Penny (Bill) Sredl, Jerry was known to have loved wood working and building stools, chess sets, and other handmade treasures for his grandchildren. He became honorary “Grandpa Jerry” to numerous children when he served as a bus driver, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He also shared his love of golf and fishing with his sons, grandchildren and numerous friends.

His devoted Catholic faith will guide him on this last journey into the Everlasting to share with loved ones that have gone before him.

Interment to Follow at Fairmount Willow Hills Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL
