Geoff E Pyka, aged 50, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Known affectionately as Geoff, he was a beacon of friendliness, adventure, and kindness to all who knew him. Born on September 11, 1974, Geoff's life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought into this world.
Geoff was the loving husband of the late Monica Lynn Pyka and a cherished father to Kathryn Grace Pyka, who was the apple of his eye. His unwavering love and guidance will forever be a precious legacy for Kathryn. Geoff also held a special place in his heart for his sister, Michele (Steve) Dreiling, and he fondly remembered the times spent with his late brother, Craig Buckley.
As a fond son-in-law, Geoff shared a close bond with Daniel and Sunny Marshall. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Teresa (Marshall) Darby and Daniel J. Marshall. He was the uncle of Jake, Dylan and Niki (Brett Bonet), Jazell and Nevaeh. His familial ties were a source of strength and comfort, and he nurtured these relationships with the same care and devotion he brought to every aspect of his life.
Geoff's interests were a reflection of his vibrant spirit. He was an avid golfer, finding solace and joy on the green fairways under the open sky.
