Fernando E Cubas

Fernando E. Cubas, a vibrant soul who brought joy to all who knew him, passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 76 years old with family by his side. Born in Puerto Supe, Peru on February 28, 1947.  He moved in his early 20's to the USA where he built a fulfilling life filled with passion.

Fernando was the loving husband of Silvia Cubas.

Cherished father of Diego Gomez, Maryann and Roseann Cubas.

Devoted grandfather to Joelson Maldonado and Adonis Cubas-Hughes and caring great-grandfather to Aiden Maldonado and London and Leilani Cubas-Hughes.

Beloved brother to The Cubas Hoyos family who reside in Peru.

Fernando had a contagious laugh and a kind heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a talented handyman and his creativity was boundless.

He will forever be remembered for his baseball caps that he wore all the time, his passion especially for salsa music, his love for the Chicago Bulls and Mediterranean cuisine
