Peacefully passed away on 21 July 2019, at home with his wife by his side.

Ernie Shewchuk was the Loving and devoted husband of Kathleen Shewchuk (nee Connerty), was the loved Son of the late Michael Shewchuk and late Pauline Shewchuk (Mandryk), the loving Brother of the late Clifford Shewchuk, the proud and loving Father/Father-in law of Scott Shewchuk and Kate Shewchuk (nee Harrity), and Todd Shewchuk and Vita Shewchuk (nee Cardone), and Stepfather of Connor Rinehart and Christie Rinehart (nee Lauderdale), the beloved Grandfather of Michael Shewchuk, Julianna Shewchuk, Katelyn Shewchuk, Margaret Shewchuk, Sarah Shewchuk, Wyatt Rinehart, and Weston Rinehart. Ernie was loved by all of his family and friends, and a dedicated fan of the game of baseball, especially his Chicago Cubs. Visitation will be held at Living Water Community Church 190 Lily Cache Lane Bolingbrook, IL 60440. On Thursday July 25, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM with service at 8PM
