She was born on April 18, 1935 in Rotzo, Italy, the 2nd of 4 daughters and one son of Silvio and Fiorinda Pellizzaro Costa. She married Andrew J. Hvizdos on Aug. 4, 1956 in Nokomis, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.

Liz experienced World War 2 first hand. Her father died assisting others in an Allied bombing raid and she was caught in a fire fight between US and German forces at Rotzo's bakery.
Liz's life ministry was loving and caring for others. She had been a member of St. Monica's church in East Peoria and St. Patrick's church in Minonk.
Private family services will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers, let us all continue Liz's Christian loving ministry to others.
Thank you for all your support for Liz and Andy over all the years.
