Dominic J LaRocca

Dominic was the beloved husband of Tina LaRocca, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage, filled with love, mutual respect, and unbreakable partnership. Together, they built a life that was a testament to their commitment to each other and to their family. Dominic was a loving brother to his late brother Sam LaRocca Sr., and he cherished the memories and legacy left behind.

As a devoted father, Dominic is survived by his five children: Sam, Vincent, Frances, Christopher, and Rosemary. He instilled in them the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion, which they carry with them as his legacy. His role as a grandfather to Vasilia LaRocca and Dillon Carey was one he held with great pride and joy, always guiding them with wisdom and a gentle hand.

Dominic's professional life as a carpenter, plumber and project manger  was marked by his exemplary craftsmanship and dedication. His work stands as a testament to his skill and his desire to create beauty and function in every project he undertook.

He and Tina were long-standing, faithful members of Marquette Manor Baptist Church in Downers Grove, IL. Their faith was a cornerstone of their life, providing them with strength, community, and a sense of purpose that they shared with those around them.

Dominic's interests were as warm and inviting as his personality. Known for solving the problems of the world over morning coffee with friends, he was a man who loved to engage in lively discussion and laughter. His presence was a comfort to all who knew him, and his absence will be felt deeply in the community.
