Curtis L Levy

Curtis Leon Levy, of Bolingbrook, Illinois passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born to the union of Robert  and Barbara Levy on July 23, 1964 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Curtis graduated from George Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1982 where he excelled as an all-American pitcher in baseball.  After graduation he dedicated his time to family, caring for his mother. 

He moved to Illinois and married Salice Boyd on June 20, 1992 and was heavenly blessed with two children.  He spent many free moments enjoying his love of fishing.  Curtis structured his career around his passion for food becoming a chef for Fairview Baptist Home and ended his career working for Coca-Cola, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Levy; sisters Jackie Patrick, Debbie Moncrief and brother Jeffrey Levy.   He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: Salice, his wife of 32 years; son, Quentin Levy; daughter, Talicia Levy; father, Robert Levy; brothers Robert Enter,  Sylvester Levy, Nat (Hazel) Ray; brother-in-laws Jerome Boyd Jr. and Richard Boyd and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
