Ashley Pitchford

Ashley Pitchford was born on March 29, 1988 in San Antonio, Texas to Rosita Pitchford.  At the tender age of six she was reared under the guidance of Anthony Young affectionately known as “ Big Daddy “.
Ashley was educated in the Joliet Public School system graduating in 2006 from Joliet West.
Ashley was multitalented. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and styling hair.  She was a devoted mother of eight with a wonderful sense of humor.
After a second battle with cancer she returned to her faith, enjoying worship and the Word daily. 
She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather George Pitchford Sr, paternal grandmother Dorothy Jean Young.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Rosita Pitchford (Anthony Young), sons Donavan Layne, Isreal Johnson, Ashton Johnson and Roshad Johnson. Daughters Barbara Jean Johnson, Aaliyah Pitchford, Sta’Nyah Abbott and Camela Abbott.
Two brothers Samuel Hervey Jr, and Anthony Young Jr.   two sisters  Antwanette Young and Angela Young,nephews Sebastian Hervey,Marcello Hervey , Martez Morrow Jr. , Marshawn Morrow, one niece Mehlia Rankin, Maternal grandmother Arnita Pitchford. Special cousins Taylor (Bryan) Bartee and Jasmine (Deddrick) Lewis. Best friend Latoya Presnall and a host of other relatives and friends.    There will be a balloon release at end of service, family is asking you to bring one so you may take part in it.
