“Marlene was a passionate Western rider and horse trainer winning her many awards in American Saddlebred Horse Association class shows in her youth. She grew up on a farm in Kansas and was always interested in cars and racing. Her 50-year career started with automotive aftermarket sales management and she retired as a international buyer. She was a devoted mother, aunt “surrogate mom” to many, grandmother and friend. She often mentored others in bowling as she enjoyed a lifetime in leagues and tournaments acquiring many accolades and trophies over the years. She was always lending a “non-judgmental” ear with a “feisty” zest for life, a laugh that was contagious and always with a generous heart. We will miss her dearly but will always hold her in our hearts forever.
